All the pictures - Ferrania P30 Black and White Film

- Shooting and home developing Ferrania P30 -

In the early part of Summer I shot a roll Ferrania P30 black and white film using my trusty Canon EOS 30 and EF 50mm lens.

P30’s a lovely film, full of character and detail as well as being quite contrasty with strong blacks but controlled highlights. I do quite like it although it’ll be a bit of a bugger to shoot in the cloudy / rainy UK.

Unfortunately for this roll, I messed up the volume of developing liquid meaning the bottom of the frame for many shots is black - still, looks quite cool though.

I pretty much followed the same shooting and devlopement settings as noted by YouTuber @Pushingfilm: Shot at ISO 32 and developed in Ilford HC Developer economy concentration for 7.5 minutes. Scanned using my Fujifilm X-T2, Canon FD 50mm macro lens and Negative Lab Pro set to ‘Lab-Standard’.
