About your candid wedding photographer!
I’m a husband to Katherine and a father to two energetic cool dudes Rowan and Ned.
I look miserable in this picture, but I do occasionally smile - honest!
I was born a long, long, loonnng time ago in Kidderminster; raised on the Isle of Wight and, via a meandering route, I find myself in deepest West Somerset and quite enjoying the quiet life.
My passion is cycling and then scoffing cake straight after. I love walks with my family and jaunts in our Camper.
Yep, when all's said and done, I'm a lucky old bean!
Me?! Photograph you wedding!
So, you're probably thinking ‘why am I reading this tosh?!’ Well, I'm kinda hoping you might be interested in me photographing your wedding...?
And on that subject I'll spare you a load of marketing flannel about why I'm amazing and all that and cut to the chase!
Flippin’ Good Time!
Shooting a wedding is simple: I turn up and I photograph you and your guests having a flipping good time.
In my view, this is where truly natural, ‘as-it-happened’ pictures come from; these pictures will be a true reflection of your wedding day.
I’m sort of not a wedding photographer
What I try to do at weddings is not think like a wedding photographer, and remain free of the cheesy, worn-out conventions the term ‘wedding photography’ comes with. My approach is more like photographing as a guest (but sober!)
Clients trust me
I don’t work to detailed shot lists - that would kill the spontaneous approach. Clients trust me to do what I do; they also like to be surprised by the delivered pictures.
Yes, I still take many of those classic wedding moments - it’s a wedding after all! - but I like to be observant and photograph what’s going on rather than what I think a wedding looks like.
All this ensures your wedding pictures are unique and meaningful both now and long into the future.
If all this sounds total-amaze-balls then all you have to do is drop me a line and we'll have a chat. There's no hard sell from me - I can't stand that stuff.
WELL DONE YOU FOR MAKING THIS FAR! Speak soon!
