A Favourite Photo - Sisters during bridal preparation

Without wishing to sound too pretentious, wedding photography is all about legacy and recording a story for the future.

I’m a fan of this picture showing the bride Rosie and her sisters with the little one, as not only does it tell a story of that moment, but I can imagine it forming part of a cache of cherished, dog-eared prints held long into the future. Unlike the wedding meal or the chair covers, wedding photography has an air of permanence and poignancy that’s perhaps easy to take for granted but so important to retain and cherish.
